Patay ang animnapu't walong taong gulang na lola matapos barilin dahil sa away sa pangunguha umano ng mangga sa Santa Maria, Isabela. Ayon sa Santa Maria Police Station, naabutan ng limampu't isang taong gulang na lalaking suspek ang biktima at dalawang iba pa na nangunguha ng bunga ng mangga sa lupa umano niya. Mainit silang nagtalo hanggang sa kumuha ng baril ang suspek at pinaputukan ang biktima. Tatlong tama ng bala sa dibdib ang tinamo ng biktima na sanhi ng kanyang pagkamatay. Matagal na umanong may alitan ang suspek at biktima kaugnay ng hangganan ng kani-kanilang lupa. Tumakas ang suspek pero natunton at naaresto siya ng mga awtoridad.
