In this compelling TEDx talk, Dr. Vishal ,an award-winning wildlife photographer challenges the comfort of the "safe shot."
Using a high-stakes expedition to Kenya’s Shompole Hide as his backdrop, he recounts the grueling process of moving beyond predictable, technical perfection to capture something truly soulful.
After days of "miserable failure" and the suffocating pressure to return to traditional methods, Vishal explains how he embraced long-exposure techniques and slow-shutter speed to trace the rhythmic movements of giraffes under a starry sky. This creative risk ultimately led to a world-first photograph and his shortlisting in the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards.
His message is a powerful reminder for creators in any field: failure is not a dead end, but a necessary bridge to original art. He encourages us to silence the critics and the fear of the unknown, reminding us that the world doesn't need more echoes ,it needs your unique voice. Dr.Vishal Naveen, a 24-year-old wildlife photographer by passion and a doctor by profession.
With an experience of 11 years, in the field of Wildlife photography.
