Overhead work.. The foundation needed for fully developed triceps. In the golden era.. Arm training didn't stop at push-downs or presses. They went overhead because that's where the triceps are stretched the deepest and forced to work the hardest. First exercise I will move for triceps will be lying cable extensions. When done properly, this exercise is very effective on developing long head of to the triceps that hangs on inside the of the arm. It gives you majority of your mass. You can't build full triceps without a overhead exercise. Barbells, dumbbells, cables, they used it all to target the long head of the tricep. Everyone has a different kind of a build.
