Whilst addressing the United States Coast Guard Academy, Donald Trump claimed Iran wants to make a deal 'so badly'. The US president said the country's coast guard had played an important role in Operation Epic Fury - the US name for Trump's war in the Middle East. Giving one example, he said specialists from the US Coast Guard helped seize a sanctioned Iranian tanker off the coast of Malaysia, which had been transporting oil from Kharg Island.
