‘It is just sad’: Democrats grilled over X-rated tweet targeting Stephen Miller

The official Democrat X account has told White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller to “shut up you ugly f***” in a move labelled “just sad” by former Republican Senate candidate Rik Mehta. The tweet directed at Mr Miller came following comments he made about Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico. “The Democratic Party continues to spiral, and what’s surprising is that this is not some anonymous troll in a basement, this is the official Democratic account,” Mr Mehta told Sky News host James Morrow. “These are the same people that lectured America for years about norms, decency, tone, lowering the temperature, when they go low, we go high, and now they are just in the corner throwing punches. “It is sad to see how much they continue to devolve and really truly destroy democracy and decency in this country that is already so heated.”
