Flying from Lucknow to Chennai became unexpectedly memorable after I found out the entire CSK squad was on my flight. What started as me randomly spotting players at the boarding gate slowly turned into one wholesome story involving nervousness, missed chances, airport food and finally meeting Sanju Samson. At first, I genuinely thought I had lost my chance after trying to ask for a picture in the middle of all the chaos on the flight. But later, I gathered some courage, went up again and Sanju turned out to be incredibly warm and sweet throughout the interaction. He even took my phone himself and clicked the picture. The flight also included some surprisingly good food, beautiful skies and wholesome moments with players like Mat Henry and Brevis after landing in Chennai.
