Autonomous buses and logistics vehicles are being utilized across several scenarios in China.
This bus in Beijing for example is traveling at about 35 kilometers per hour and changes lanes, turns, and brakes on its own, thanks to its AI operating system.
Eventually, it will be used to ferry employees and passengers at airports.
In Suzhou City, a fleet of 10 autonomous busses operates four different routes from 9 to 4 every day, taking people to places like, the hospital for medical appointments.
Besides driverless buses, driverless logistics vehicles are also traversing Chinese roads.
According to Chinese industry data, more than 6,000 unmanned delivery vehicles were deployed across the country as of July last year, handling hundreds of millions of packages daily.
