Man, 22, dies from stabbing after altercation with teenagers inside Montreal North Walmart

Montreal police arrested four teenagers following the stabbing of a 22-year-old man at a Walmart in Montreal North earlier this week. The victim was stabbed at least once in the upper body with a sharp object and later died in hospital. One teen has been released from custody and three others are facing numerous criminal charges. One was charged with second-degree murder, the second was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and the third has been charged with complicity after the fact of serious assault and obstruction of justice. “We are looking into it, obviously. There is a gap of ages, so what was the altercation about? What was the reason? Did they know each other? That's still to be determined at this moment,” Jean Pierre Brabant of the Montreal Police said. As Phil Carpenter reports, the deadly stabbing was Montreal’s ninth homicide this year.
