视频说明
Citizen Releases Dog on Cops Who Refused to Leave in Florida On May 23 2023 two police officers arrived at a homeowner property on Tanglewood Drive in Florida to deliver a criminal trespass warning on behalf of his elderly neighbor. What followed is one of the wildest police encounters ever caught on camera. Instead of complying this Florida man flipped the entire situation and trespassed the cops from HIS property. The officers were there to issue a criminal trespass warning after a dispute between the man and his elderly neighbor. The man immediately demanded names and badge numbers. Officer Hernandez Badge 535 and his partner Badge 520 identified themselves. The homeowner acknowledged the warning agreed never to return to the neighbor property and told them that is all you need now get off my property. But these officers refused to leave. Despite being asked SIX times to vacate despite clearly posted No Trespassing signs and despite being told he would not answer questions without an attorney present the officers stayed. The man cited the Fourth Amendment warned them about losing qualified immunity and told them their badges and guns are not a crown. When the officers still would not leave the homeowner gave them a 30 second countdown then closed the gate and released his dog. The officers finally backed away and the man made it clear he would defend his property. The man in this video is John Stuart a Florida resident who uploaded the original footage to YouTube on May 23 2023. The video went viral with over 38000 views on his channel alone and hundreds of thousands more across police accountability and cop watch reaction channels nationwide. As of 2026 no public lawsuit filing or settlement has been confirmed from this incident. No criminal charges were filed against the homeowner. The officers completed delivery of the trespass warning by leaving it at the gate and eventually exited after the dog was released. Stuart has not posted legal updates regarding civil action against the department. The case remains a widely shared example of a citizen asserting constitutional rights during a police encounter on private property in the USA. KEY LEGAL POINTS IN THIS VIDEO A homeowner has the right to order anyone off their property including police officers when no crime is being committed and no warrant is present. Criminal trespass warnings are civil documents and delivering one does not authorize law enforcement to remain on private property against the owners wishes. Officers who violate constitutional rights risk losing qualified immunity. The Fourth Amendment protects citizens from unreasonable searches and seizures. No Trespassing signs serve as legal notice under Florida Statute 810.09. The Fifth Amendment protects your right to remain silent during any police encounter on your property. • Drop your thoughts in the comments.
