From Wet Cardboard to Warm Shelter ? Building a Safe Cat House in the Rain

On a cold rainy day, two abandoned cats were sitting inside a soaked cardboard box on a city sidewalk. Instead of walking away, we built them a warm wooden shelter — dried it, insulated it with straw, added a rug, installed food bowls, and gave them a safe home.
