Sam is a small-time hooligan with a gambling addiction. Mired in debt and desperate to provide for his young family, he gets hold of a gun and commits an armed robbery. Incarcerated for over 10 years, Sam comes out a reformed man, determined to make amends. He starts a small hardware business, hoping to turn his life around. His past, however, soon catches up with him as jealous competitors spread word about his checkered history, causing the business to suffer.As the debts pile up and pressure mounts, Sam crosses paths once more with a former associate who offers him a way out of his current troubles… “Dare to Make It” is a film that shows how success is multi-dimensional and not simply about meeting societal expectations.
