First Autocross race with my son Brigs yesterday!

Last minute my son Brigham and I found out about an Autocross race taking place at a small airport 40 minutes from where we live so we loaded the Porsche on the @southlandtrailers tilt deck and headed to our first race! Luckily we were able to find a helmet to borrow and taped a number on our car so we could race. We chose the number 79 for the year I was born and then Brigs was 179 so when it was his turn to run we just had to put a strip of tape for the 1 and take it off to make it 79 again. We just kept jumping in and out of the car swapping seats and taking the 1 on and off. Absolutely amazing day! The car club puts on these races about every two weeks all summer and if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth coming and trying! So rad to finally be able to let this car open up and do what it does!! We bought the car as part of a plan to develop Brighams skills as a racer and to let me also have a shot at living a childhood dream. After the first run my hands were shaking from how incredible it was!!
