Hero Saves Child: Worker Dangles From Ride 30 Feet Up to Protect Young Girl 😱

A carnival worker is being hailed as a hero after dangling 30 feet in the air to protect a young girl when a ride malfunctioned at the Groves Pecan Festival in Groves, Texas.The incident occurred on "The Bullet" ride on October 15, when a sudden gust of wind lifted the compartment into the air while the door was still open. The ride rotated 180 degrees and became stuck with the girl inside.Without hesitation, the worker grabbed onto the ride and hung in mid-air for 2–3 minutes, struggling to close the open door while suspended above the ground. He eventually secured the door shut with his foot just as the ride began to descend.According to Groves City Marshal Norman Reynolds, there were two to four other children in the ground-level compartments at the time.
