In Episode 4 of The Impact Challenge, three Filipino youth organizations step into the spotlight to take on one of the nation’s most overlooked battles: the fight to grow local economies from the ground up.
In a country where majority of businesses are micro, small, and medium enterprises, most Filipino entrepreneurs operate without a safety net, without access to affordable credit, and without formal training. Tonight’s finalists believe that economic development doesn’t start with billion-peso infrastructure. It starts with a livelihood, a microloan, a skill, and a community that believes in itself.
Anchored on Rotary International’s area of focus on Growing Local Economies, this episode proves a simple truth: hustle with heart is where real community development begins.
