Cenk Uygur, a Turkish-American political commentator who was recently banned from entering the UK over his criticism of Israel, discussed the events on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Uygur observed the "irony" of being banned not for criticising the British government, rather the Israeli one. Piers Morgan said that throughout Uygur's regular presence on the show as a guest, he had never demonstrated to be "hateful about Jewish people or anyone because of their faith".
An article published by The Times soon after Uygur learnt about the ban, claimed he held antisemitic opinions which “may not be conducive to the public good".
