Tim Hortons says it plans to hire 10,000 “local” workers and scale back its use of the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) program as youth unemployment soars and Dunkin' Donunts re-enters the Canadian market.
Global’s Nivrita Ganguly speaks with Duncan Fulton, chief corporate officer at Restaurant Brands International, the owner of Tim Hortons, about what this will mean for franchisees and their employees.
