Bear attacks people in Japan's Fukushima, injures 4 | ABS-CBN News

A bear attack on Tuesday (June 2) at a business and residential area in northeastern Japan left four people injured. Security footage from Fukushima Steel Works shows an Asian black bear chasing a worker by the entrance of the factory and throwing him to the ground. It then ran into a building, while being chased by a jeep. According to local media report, it also injured another worker in his 60s at the same compound and a woman in her 80s in the neighbourhood. The bear later went into the premises of another factory and attacked an employee in his 60s. As of Wednesday (June 3), it is believed to be still in the factory and local police have declared an emergency to allow the animal to be shot, according to local media.
