Dozens of US military refuelling aircraft were reportedly deployed to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv through at least the end of 2027, according to Israeli media. Israel’s Civil Aviation Authority warned that Ben Gurion Airport is increasingly operating like a military base rather than a civilian airport.
