影片說明
In this home activity, one child and a parent recreate the adventure from the story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. Different objects and textures on the floor represent parts of the journey. The child moves through each “obstacle” just like in the story.
During the activity, the child:
- walks through long grass
- splashes through a river
- squelches through mud
- carefully steps through other parts of the path
The parent reads or tells the story while the child moves, listens, and acts out the adventure. This makes the story more engaging and helps children understand the language through movement and play.
This activity helps develop:
- listening skills
- imagination
- vocabulary from the story
- physical coordination
A fun and simple way to bring the story to life at home.
