Alex prints some halftones of cars in bad situations found at an antique store

We wouldn’t say that we are actively on the hunt for new cuts for our print shop at the Sacramento History Museum, but we sometimes come across ones when antique shopping! Recently, Alex was shopping at Antique Trove in Roseville and found two halftones for letterpress printing. Since Alex found these, Alex letterpress printed these using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852. These two halftones depict automobiles in terrible situations. The print on the left is a car upside down after an accident and the one on the right is cars stuck in a flood.
