This talk explores a pattern many of us are rewarded for: appearing composed, capable, and in control while quietly losing contact with what is true underneath. Through personal turning points, it asks whether real resilience begins not in performance, but in honesty. Vikas Parihar is a business transformation, growth, and marketing leader with nearly two decades of experience across India, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia. He currently serves as Chief Growth & Transformation Officer at Infinity Advertising Network, Founder of Graceonix, and CMO of Kickboxing Super League India. His career spans leadership roles across global networks including WPP, IPG, Omnicom, and Havas, where he has led brand growth, digital transformation, and business innovation across markets and cultures. He is also an author of Destiny’s Kaleidoscope and Unleashing Resilience, and has been associated with MDI Gurgaon as a guest lecturer. Vikas brings together strategy, storytelling, resilience, and multicultural experience to inspire conversations on leadership, reinvention, and building futures beyond the obvious. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
