Ingredients:
-500g pizza dough
-200ml tomato sauce
-200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
-150g meat of your choice (pepperoni, ham, or sausage)
-150g mushrooms, sliced
-1 egg, beaten (egg wash)
-salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Divide the dough into 3 equal portions and roll each out into a circle about 25cm wide.
Spread tomato sauce over one half of each dough circle, leaving a 2cm border. Layer on the cheese, meat and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper. Don't overfill or they'll burst!
Fold the empty half over the filling to form a half-moon. Press the edges firmly and crimp to seal. Brush tops with egg wash.
Place on a parchment-lined tray and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Serve with extra tomato sauce on the side for dipping. Do NOT feed to raccoons. 🦝
