Officials monitoring Alberta flood risk, public being asked to steer clear

As water levels continue to rise across southern Alberta, officials are keeping a close eye and are asking the public to steer clear of dangerous situations and fast moving water. Some residents of at-risk areas feel the rising water levels are getting a little to close for comfort and recalling the devastating floods of 2013. But officials say we aren’t there yet with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith saying, “We’re watching it this weekend, but at the moment there’s not the level of risk like we would have had in 2013.” Global’s Jordan Prentice reports.
