West Bengal politics has heated up once again ahead of the Falta re-poll. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari launched a sharp attack on TMC candidate Jahangir Khan during a rally and raised the now-viral “Pushpa vs Singham” controversy.
Addressing BJP workers in Falta, Adhikari said the election was not just about choosing an MLA but about restoring constitutional rights and free voting in the region. He also accused police officers and the previous government of political bias and corruption, claiming investigations into call records and WhatsApp chats were underway.
The Falta re-poll, ordered after allegations of violence and irregularities, has now become one of the biggest political flashpoints in Bengal.
