In this inspiring talk, Ms. Dipna Patel reflects on her journey from being a shy schoolgirl, terrified of public speaking to becoming a confident actor, theatre performer, and coach. Through vulnerable stories of freezing on stage, struggling with self-expression, and feeling limited by fear and comparison, she reveals how every “imperfect step” eventually shaped the person she would become. With honesty, humour, and heartfelt reflection, she uses a strong acting demonstration to encourage audiences to stop waiting for confidence or perfection before pursuing their dreams, reminding them that growth begins the moment one chooses to step outside the box. Her story is a powerful reminder that failure is not the opposite of success, but often the very path that leads to it.
