What Japan's Most Insane Baseball Stadium on Game Day is like

I traveled from Tokyo to Hokkaido to visit Es Con Field, home of the Nippon Ham Fighters, and easily one of the most advanced baseball stadiums in Japan. If you are into Japan travel, Tokyo travel, or planning a Japan guide, this is one of the most unique things to do in Japan. This stadium is more than just baseball. It has a built in onsen, sauna, hotel rooms overlooking the field, seats for dogs, a batting simulator, over 50 restaurants, and even a massive playground. It feels less like a stadium and more like a full entertainment theme park built around Japanese baseball culture. After a two hour flight from Tokyo and another hour by train, I finally made it. The goal was simple. Do as much as possible before the game ended, get a piece of the field, and somehow make it onto the massive Jumbotron. From exploring every level to trying Tokyo style stadium food, this Japan travel food experience turned into one of the wildest days I have had.
