Saudi Arabia has announced a major relief for expatriates and visitors who were unable to leave the Kingdom due to recent Middle East travel disruptions. The Ministry of Interior confirmed that all types of expired visas — including visit, Umrah, transit, and final exit visas — are now eligible for extension or direct exit without any fines.
According to official updates, visa holders whose visas expired after February 25, 2026 can now leave Saudi Arabia directly from airports or borders without paying overstay penalties or fees.

Additionally, those who wish to stay temporarily can extend their visas through official platforms until April 18, 2026.

This decision comes as flight operations across the Middle East were affected, leaving many travelers stranded. The new process makes exit easier, faster, and penalty-free for eligible individuals.
