Hot sunshine will continue through the afternoon for most of the UK but cloud will start to bubble up in places with a risk of isolated showers across England and Wales. A Met Office thunderstorm warning has been issued with gusty winds, hail, and 20 – 30 mm of rain possible in a short period of time. Sunny spells across Northern Ireland and into western Scotland whilst a few showers could affect eastern Scotland.
