Assistant Ombudsman Jose Dominic Clavano IV confirms there is.a fact-finding investigation against Vice President Sara Duterte but noted the investigation will wait for all the evidence to be presented in Duterte’s impeachment trial. He noted the impeachment allegations of unexplained wealth, corruption and misuse of confidential funds all fall under the jurisdiction of the Ombudsman. He added that existing jurisprudence shows only the President is immune from suit.
