Chinese restaurants are using AI-powered cooking machines to keep costs low and improve efficiency.
The device consists of a mechanized wok and various containers that are automatically poured in it.
At one popular chain in southwest China's Chengdu City, robotic chefs assisted with the surge of diners during the May Day holiday from the first to the fifth.
Not only do the devices match human chefs on ability—they also cut costs, save space and boost efficiency.
The robots, made by a local tech firm, are now serving nearly a hundred restaurants in the city and over a thousand nationwide.
