We have now arrived at the fourth class of the DaVinci Resolve Beginner Guide. ?
In this lesson, we discuss how proxies are created and how they are used in DaVinci Resolve. The proxies are used to work around the lag experienced in playback of heavy 4K or 8K proxies. Smoother playback can generally be achieved by editing lower-resolution files. The lower-resolution proxy files allows for editing to be done on virtually any computer. Once editing is complete, DaVinci Resolve automatically links to the original files for export.
This class works best for beginners who are looking to improve their workflow and streamline the editing process for videos of a higher resolution.
