Congress staged a major protest in Jaipur against the NEET paper leak case, alleging failure of the central government in ensuring a fair examination system. During the protest outside the BJP office, police used barricades and water cannons as tensions escalated and several leaders were detained. Rahul Gandhi criticized the government, saying that a regime that responds to students’ questions with force is driven by fear, not accountability. The protest highlighted growing political confrontation over repeated exam leaks and demands for the resignation of the Education Minister, while parliamentary scrutiny of the NTA is also underway.
