Howard Calleja on Friday, May 22, claimed that Senate protective custody may have been used as a cover for the "escape" of Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, arguing that Senator Robinhood Padilla played a major role in aiding him. Calleja also raised possible obstruction of justice concerns, citing CCTV footage and questioning why Dela Rosa was allowed to leave while supposedly under Senate custody.
