The world is in pieces, tormented by stories that echo the very things we hoped to have learned from in the past. And with everything that’s going on, one of the most shocking crises has almost disappeared into complete silence. Yet it’s raging on every single day. The civil war in Sudan has surpassed 1,000 days at the beginning of this year, with its roots reaching back much further. More than 12 million people have been forcibly displaced and an estimated 25 million are facing acute food insecurities. Our awareness and voice matters, it’s a way to put pressure on those in power to take action, it’s a way to make a difference.
