TEDxChattanooga Sessions has always been about the space between the notes: the stories, the vulnerability, the humanity behind the music. This year, alongside Stove Works, we deepened that experience by also inviting visual art into the room where we collectively explored the intersection of music and visual art. The musicians not only performed stripped down versions of their originals but also perform a brand new song in response to a piece of art in the gallery. During their sets, they performed next to that piece of art sharing the creative journey and the connection they discovered between sound and art. Amber Worthington's set: 1. Counting On The Wind 2. Known for her time on The Voice and for checking off a lifelong dream of performing at the Grand Ole Opry, Amber has spent years writing, performing, and connecting with audiences across the country. In recent years, she has focused on honing her craft as a professional vocalist in studio settings and on stages for major events and festivals nationwide. Tonight marks her very first time sharing original songs live in Chattanooga. She’s excited to continue putting her heart on the line and releasing music this year—so stay tuned, this is just the beginning.
