Meet Qi, a passionate graduate of NZTC’s Graduate Diploma in Teaching (ECE). Originally from northwest China, Qi shares her journey from teaching A-level economics to finding purpose in early childhood education in New Zealand. Now working as a full-time early childhood teacher, she reflects on her experience as an international student, her practicum, and her dream of opening a small home-based centre.
Graduates of NZTC’s Graduate Diploma in Teaching (ECE) are eligible to apply for provisional teacher registration with the Teaching Council of New Zealand upon graduation, making it a valuable pathway into a meaningful teaching career.
