Cable Back Exercise Mistakes (FIX THIS!)
Lat Pulldown Mistake: Keeping your shoulders pinned down for the entire movement. This limits your range of motion and prevents you from getting a full stretch in your lats.
Fix: As the bar travels back up, let your shoulders rise slightly so your lats can stretch. Then, as you pull the bar down, depress your shoulders and drive your elbows down toward your sides.
Cable Row Mistake: Shrugging your shoulders as you pull the handle. This shifts more tension to your upper traps instead of keeping the focus on your lats and mid-back.
Fix: Keep your shoulders down as you row. Think about pulling your elbows back, not shrugging the weight up. Your shoulders should stay away from your ears throughout the pull.
