Drawing on more than two decades as an emergency room physician, Jeremy Baird shares what failure looks like when failure is not supposed to be an option. Through high‑stakes clinical experiences, he introduces a practical three‑step framework—recognize, analyze, and strategize—for processing failure honestly and learning from it. His talk shows how facing failure with clarity and intention can lead to better decisions, stronger resilience, and truly inspired independence.
Dr. Jeremy Baird is a practitioner of Emergency Medicine for over 20 years in a wide spectrum of settings, from large university hospitals to a free-standing emergency department in a corn field. Most recently he spent a year working on the small island of Saipan. He enjoys experiencing both the natural and human world around him and appreciates diversity of culture and thought, as well as finding great joy in mentoring and contributing to someone’s learning journey.
