What if growth doesn’t mean becoming someone new, but becoming a stronger version of who you’ve always been? In this insightful talk, Brigadier Trigunesh Mukherjee reflects on a lifetime of discipline, leadership, and learning, showing how experiences, training, and challenges continuously shape our identity like a kaleidoscope in motion. Through stories from the Army and beyond, he explores how constant evolution and self-improvement do not erase who we are, but refine us into better versions of ourselves. A decorated Indian Army veteran and recipient of the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Brig. Trigunesh Mukherjee has had a distinguished career spanning military leadership, education, and experiential learning. Commissioned into the 4th Battalion of The Rajputana Rifles in 1966, he held key command and academic roles, including Commandant of the Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School and DDG Training of the NCC, while also contributing to the induction of women officers into the Army. After retiring, he transitioned into education and leadership training, co-founding experiential learning initiatives such as Exper Executive Education and Inme Learning, and is also an author of Inside the Indian Army and numerous articles on management, defence, and education.
