Malaysia teen killed in crash after lamp-post pierces van

A teenager was killed in a crash involving a car and a van in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, on Tuesday (May 19). Local media reported that the driver of a Volkswagen Golf GTI lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a lamp-post on the road divider. A district police chief said that the car then veered into the opposite lane and collided with a van carrying the 18-year-old victim and his father.
