ABC accused of relentless left-wing bias and double standards

The Australian Columnist Tom Switzer argues the ABC consistently leans left on major political debates. “For many years you and I, among others, have argued that a left liberal bias or groupthink has clouded ABC editorial judgment, and this fits the pattern,” Mr Switzer told Sky News host Steve Price. “But it’s not just Grace Tame; it’s their obsession with Malcolm Turnbull. He’s on there almost every second day, bagging the Liberal Party; they would never afford that luxury to a conservative Liberal leader. “On virtually every public policy and political controversy, you can bet the ABC leans left. “They are subsidised by taxpayers, and the legislative quid pro quo for public funding is a commitment to impartiality.”
