Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage has called to meet the family of murdered student Henry Nowak.
Mr Farage has been accused of inciting violence following the murder after telling the public to show “white hot rage” over the incident.
However, he says his comment calling for “rage” was directed at addressing two-tiered policing in the UK.
“What we have to do is everything we can in our power to stop this sort of thing from happening again, and we only do that by recognising we’ve now got two-tier policing,” Mr Farage told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Unless you start policing people equally, regardless of their ethnicity, we’re going to have more of this violence.”
