I bought a brand-new 212cc engine. At first, I planned to use it for building a machine, but instead I decided to see how much performance I could get from a cheap and simple tuning setup.
I completely disassembled the engine, removed the governor mechanism, and removed the oil sensor so the engine wouldn't shut off while cornering. After that, I installed 22lb valve springs, swapped the stock flywheel for a much lighter one, installed a PWK 24 carburetor, and added a CVT transmission.
The result of these small modifications completely surprised me. I didn't expect such a big improvement from an industrial engine. The engine responds instantly to the throttle, revs very high, and runs extremely smoothly. I was so happy with the outcome that I built a second engine with the same modifications. In my next project, I plan to install both engines into a single vehicle.
The Evolution S355MCS metal cutting saw shown in the video was provided for testing. I use it in my workshop for clean and precise steel cuts, with no sparks like an angle grinder.
