An adult Bonnet Macaque is resting high within the forest canopy while holding a young baby macaque closely against its chest. The older macaque remains partially hidden behind dense, feather-like green foliage as it balances among the upper branches of the tree. Nearby, a juvenile Bonnet macaque is perched carefully on a thin branch surrounded by thick tropical vegetation and a blurred green jungle background. The monkeys display typical arboreal behaviour commonly observed among Bonnet macaques in forested habitats across southern India. Natural daylight filters through the leaves, revealing the texture of the fur, facial features, and surrounding canopy vegetation.
