Built in 1965 around the existing 24-Hour track, Le Mans Bugatti sits 5km south of the city and 200km south-west of Paris. Off the calendar from 1995 to 2000 after Alberto Puig's serious crash, it returned with major safety upgrades. The layout is dominated by first-gear corners — late braking, hard acceleration and rear traction are everything.
